Taylor Traversari Named GM Of Koka Booth Amphitheatre

CARY, N.C. (CelebrityAccess) Taylor Traversari has been announced as the general manager of the Cary-owned and SMG-managed Koka Booth Amphitheatre in Cary, N.C.

Traversari brings more than 20 years of experience to the roll, having most recently been the assistant director at North Carolina’s Raleigh Convention Center and the GM at municipally-owned Red Hat Amphitheatre. He most recently produced the Wide Open Bluegrass Festival and July 4th Festival in downtown Raleigh.

“In a field of very accomplished candidates the Town of Cary and SMG is pleased to have completed this search and feel extremely lucky to have found Taylor in our own backyard,” SMG regional GM Dolly Vogt said in a statement. “After seeing his success in other area venues, we are confident he will take Booth Amphitheatre to a new level.”

“My lifetime passion for music and live entertainment began as a child and has continued throughout my life,” Traversari added. “The move to a beautiful and treasured venue like Booth Amphitheatre presents a new challenge and chapter for me. I look forward to continuing the success and setting even higher goals for this remarkable venue.”

Traversari is the son of music industry veteran Ed Traversari. He replaces Liz McDonald, who recently left Koka Booth to pursue other interests in Florida.
